Mupirocin Lithium Salt (TJ016F) is a selective supplement for MRS Agar. One vial is added together with one vial of Cysteine Hydrochloride Solution (TJ042F) to 100 mL of MRS Agar (GF1084F) to make Modified MRS Agar.
The modified agar is used for the isolation, enumeration and cultivation of lactic acid bacteria. Each vial contains 5.0 mg of mupirocin lithium salt.
