Request a quoteOverview
Polypropylene fiber filters are often used in special biological applications. They are made by pressing polypropylene fiber, resist acids and most organic solvents, and do not adsorb most biological molecules. They are 1.0 mm thick with a 5 µm pore size, with diameters that can be customized, and in some applications cost less than UHMW-PE filters.
The ordering table lists a round filter paper (F-FP-194, Ø19.4 mm, for a 20 mL filter), mixed fiber filters (Ø7.0 to 19.6 mm, 1.0 mm thick, 5 µm pore), PP membrane filters from 6.0 to 19.6 mm, two stainless steel frits (Ø4.5 and Ø4.6 mm, 1.0 mm thick, 2 µm pore) and a pellosil item. Most are packed 10,000 per pack.
