Overview

Product overview

Biocomma PTFE frits are made from pure PTFE raw material and can be used in many analysis and testing applications, for example determining plasticizers in foodstuffs and food packaging materials.

PTFE is a synthetic polymer in which fluorine replaces all the hydrogen atoms of polyethylene. It resists acids, alkalis and all kinds of organic solvents, can work at 260 °C for a very long time and has a very low friction coefficient. Four standard sizes are listed (Ø2.5 to 13 mm, about 1.55 to 3.42 mm thick, pores of 10 to 50 µm), packed 1000 per pack, and custom PTFE filters are available.
