Product overview
Sabouraud Dextrose Broth is a peptone-and-dextrose medium listed for the cultivation of yeasts and molds, with CP, EP and USP references. Biocomma supplies it as a dehydrated powder (GF606F) and as a granulated version (KL606F).
Both forms are prepared at 30.0 g per litre of purified water, boiled to dissolve and autoclaved at 121 °C for 15 minutes, giving a final pH of 5.6±0.2. Sealed product has a 5-year shelf life when stored dark and dry at 2-25 °C.
