Product overview
H2OStop® self-sealing filters are widely used in medical and surgical applications. They are sintered from water-swelling polymers, giving good air flow when they serve as vents on medical devices. When wetted, their pores are sealed immediately by the swelled polymer beads, preventing waste liquid from flowing out of containers.
Typical uses are ESR pipettes, waste treatment systems, arterial sampling syringes, pipette tips and other medical devices. Seven standard sizes are listed, 2.4 to 4.5 mm in diameter and 5 to 7 mm thick with 5, 10 or 20 µm pores, packed 10,000 per pack.
