Overview

Product overview

Erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) testing is a routine clinical test in which a disposable ESR pipette is used to measure how far erythrocytes descend over one hour. H2OStop® self-sealing filters make ESR testing more convenient by helping operators pipette blood quickly and accurately up to the "0" mark.

The filters work at pressures above 50 kPa, equivalent to 5-10 m of water, and are made of ultra-pure UHMW-PE with no erythrocyte adhesiveness and no leachable plasticizers that could influence results. The standard item CF24-60 is 2.4 mm in diameter by 6.0 mm thick, packed 10,000 per box, with custom filters available.
