H2OStop® Self-Sealing Filters for Peripheral Venous Catheters

Intravenous therapy through a peripheral venous catheter (PVC) is a widely used route of administration, and any residual air must be excluded from the catheter. With a traditional PVC, excluding air bubbles is complicated and time-consuming and often leads to medication spillage and floor contamination; medication, especially antibiotics, exposed to air may also contribute to antibiotic resistance.

H2OStop® self-sealing filters simplify air-bubble exclusion, with a stated one-time success rate of near 100%, and effectively prevent medication from spilling. They are made of ultra-pure UHMW-PE, avoiding contamination of the medication, and are customized with high precision for a perfect fit with the catheter. The standard item CF36-45 is 3.6 mm in diameter by 4.5 mm thick, packed 10,000 per box.
