Sodium Sulfadiazine (TJ029F) is one of the two supplements for SPS Agar. One vial each of TJ028F (Polymyxin B 1.2 mg) and TJ029F is added to 100 mL of SPS Base (GF1059F / KL1059F) and mixed thoroughly.
The agar is used for the isolation and enumeration of Clostridium perfringens from food, water and all types of foodstuffs. Each vial contains 12.0 mg of sodium sulfadiazine.
