Product overview
biocomma® disposable vacuum filtration units are stand-alone devices that combine a graduated funnel top, a filter assembly and a graduated reservoir. They suit work that needs a self-contained, pre-sterilised, single-use unit, such as sterile filtration of biological and aqueous fluids, tissue culture media and buffers.
Membranes are PES, cellulose acetate or hydrophilic PVDF in various pore sizes. The catalog lists 250 mL units with 50 mm membranes and 500 mL and 1000 mL units with 90 mm membranes, each with a matching funnel and receiver flask.
The units are non-pyrogenic, low in extractables and surfactant-free, and a glass fiber pre-filter is available.
