Sterile Syringe Filters

biocomma® sterile syringe filters remove bacteria quickly while limiting the impact on active ingredients in the liquid during sterilization. In general, a 0.1 µm filter removes mycoplasma, a 0.22 µm filter removes bacteria and a 0.45 µm filter removes solid particles.

They are widely used in life science to sterilize small-volume biological liquids such as proteins, culture media, additives, buffers, reagents and pharmaceuticals. The filters are sterilized by gamma radiation, are DNase and RNase free, pyrogen free and endotoxin free, and show low protein adsorption. Easy-tear packaging made of medical polypropylene ensures good sealing.

The listed range covers 13 mm and 25 mm diameters in 0.22 and 0.45 µm, with hydrophilic MCE, CA, PES and nylon membranes and hydrophobic PVDF and PTFE membranes, 100 pieces per box.
