Product overview
The surface sampling sponge-stick is a tool for sampling surface microorganisms, residues and contaminants. Each unit has a sponge-stick in a sterile bag, pre-moistened with 10 mL of a chosen liquid (or supplied dry), and it is used in food processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, hygiene monitoring and laboratory testing.
The long handle reduces contamination risk, the sampling bag is durable and leak-proof, and the compact sterile pack is ready to use. The sponge is lightweight for easy handling and efficient sampling. Eight options are offered: PBS, buffered peptone water, nutrient broth, Letheen broth, D/E neutralizing broth, 0.85% saline, neutralizing buffer, or dry.
