Product overview
Tip combs are made of medical-grade high-purity polypropylene and have low binding affinity for biomolecules. Both the 8-strip and the 96 tip combs fit 96 square deep-well plates.
The combs protect the magnetic rods from reagents, extending rod lifespan, and are suited to magnetic particle processing in automated nucleic acid extraction systems. They tolerate autoclaving at 121 °C for 20 minutes. Matching 96-well square-well collection plates (2.2 mL U- or V-bottom, and 0.5 mL V-bottom) are also listed.
