Overview

Product overview

The V-200, formerly the Stuart SA8, is a variable-speed vortex mixer for rapid mixing of samples in test tubes, small flasks and bottles. The supplied rubber cup head accepts a wide variety of tube sizes and shapes.

In touch mode the mixer starts when the cup is pressed down and stops as soon as the vessel is lifted away; continuous operation can also be selected. Speed is adjustable from 200 to 2500 rpm on a 4.2 mm orbit.

A heavy die-cast body keeps the unit stable on the bench, and a retort rod holder lets a vessel be clamped in place for longer mixing runs. It runs on 90 to 240 V and carries a three-year warranty.
