Product overview
The Kesar autoclave is a high-pressure steam sterilizer that uses moist heat at about 121 °C to 125 °C and 15 to 25 psi to decontaminate laboratory glassware, culture media, medical instruments and biological waste. It is aimed at microbiology labs, pharma QC, QA and R&D and waste treatment.
The outer body is stainless steel or powder-coated mild steel with a high-grade stainless steel chamber, a single-lever door lock, silicone gasket, integrated water reservoir and steam generator, and pressure safety valves and gauges.
A microprocessor PID controller with digital display handles temperature, pressure and cycle time, with pre-set cycles, automatic pressure, steam and water release, low-water alarm with heater cut-off and data logging. An optional controller-cum-data-logger with F0 value software and a pressure transducer are listed.
