Product overview
The Kesar muffle furnace delivers controlled, even, flame-free heat for ash content determination, ceramic heating, heat treatment, ignition tests and gravimetric analysis in pharmaceutical, chemical and research laboratories.
Kanthal A1 heating elements and ceramic fibre wool insulation give uniform heating and reduce energy use while keeping external surfaces cooler. The exterior is stainless steel and G.I. powder-coated mild steel, with a heat-resistant air-tight door mechanism.
A dual-display microprocessor PID controller with a K-type thermocouple sets the temperature, with a programmable timer, auto-cut-off, overheat protection, data logging and alarms. It is offered as a 1050 °C muffle model and a 1150 °C refractory model in six chamber sizes.
