Request a quoteOverview
The Kesar photostability chamber exposes pharmaceutical, cosmetic and industrial samples to controlled visible and UV light together with regulated temperature and humidity. It is designed around ICH Q1B confirmatory studies, which call for at least 1.2 million lux hours of illumination and 200 watt-hours per square metre of near-UV energy.
Fluorescent tubes provide the daylight effect and UV tubes provide the ultraviolet exposure. The control system tracks UV and LUX exposure online, regulates light automatically and cuts the cycle off when the study is complete.
The stainless steel chamber has a double-door system with an insulated outer door and a full-view inner glass door, castor wheels, and the control panel and refrigeration mounted on top. Optional extras include 21 CFR Part 11 software, standby systems, a scanner and GSM alerts.
