Overview

Product overview

The Kesar vacuum oven dries, degasses and heat-treats materials under reduced pressure, removing moisture, solvents and volatiles from heat-sensitive samples with less oxidation and thermal decomposition than a conventional oven.

The double-walled stainless steel body with matt finish is insulated with glass wool. The door has a glass viewing window, silicone gasket and positive latch so a vacuum of better than -700 mm Hg can be held while samples are observed. Adjustable stainless steel shelves are included.

A microprocessor PID controller with digital display, an analog vacuum meter, overheat protection and a vacuum control NRV valve for setting the required pressure make up the control side. Round (KGOV-12, 28, 52) and rectangular (KGOV-28, 95, 137) chamber sizes are listed.
