Product overview
The FC20 is Lifeloc’s feature-rich professional portable breath alcohol tester. A 1" alcohol-specific platinum fuel cell reads 0 to .600 BAC with stated accuracy of ±.005 BAC to .100 BAC and ±5% from .100 to .400 BAC. On-board memory is 4,000 tests. Four AA alkaline or NiMH cells give 160 on-hours or up to 6,000 tests. Operating temperature is 32–130 °F (0–55 °C). The chassis is 2.6 × 5 × 1.25 in and 8 oz with batteries. Automatic, manual, and passive sampling, password protection, a real-time clock, and AlcoMark PC download sit on this line. EASYCAL G2 automates calibration, verification, and record retention when that station is specified. An FC20BT sister adds Bluetooth.
Lifeloc states the FC Series is not approved for workplace confirmation testing under DOT Regulations 49 CFR Part 40. Specify Phoenix 6.0BT when the method is workplace confirmation. Do not treat the FC20 as a 49 CFR Part 40 workplace EBT.
Al-Shaker specifies FC20 versus FC20BT and versus Phoenix 6.0BT when the protocol is workplace confirmation, then installs, trains, and supports the portable tester across Jordan, the GCC, and MENA.
