Request a quoteOverview
SENTINEL is Lifeloc’s automated entry-point breath alcohol screening system for high-volume zero-tolerance checks of employees, contractors, and visitors. Sampling is automatic and passive — the subject blows toward the port; no mouthpieces or straws are required. A full-size 1" platinum fuel cell is the sensor. Lifeloc states negative results in less than 2 seconds and positives in less than 10 seconds. The wall unit is 13 × 8 × 4.3 in (33 × 20 × 11 cm) and 4.75 lb (2.15 kg). Ingress protection is IP54. Operating temperature is 32–130 °F (0–55 °C). Cut-offs are adjustable at .000, .02, .04 BAC, or a custom level. Color icons prompt the blow and show the result. The housing is anodized aluminum with weatherproofing gaskets; software updates use the internal USB port. A double relay output sequences the unit with turnstiles, time clocks, and other access control. Calibration is done without taking the unit off the wall.
SENTINEL-VA is the vehicular-access / wheelchair variant on a coiled cable — specify it when the gate is a vehicle lane or the entry must serve a wheelchair.
Al-Shaker specifies wall SENTINEL versus SENTINEL-VA, the cut-off, and whether the relay ties into existing access control, then installs, trains, and supports the screener across Jordan, the GCC, and MENA.
