Overview

Product overview

The LX9 is the top model of Lifeloc's L Series, built for evidential testing in law enforcement, corrections, military, probation, parole and school settings. It combines a platinum fuel cell sensor with a colour display, a five-button keypad with customisable data fields, password protection and a 10,000-test memory that also stores calibration and accuracy records.

A 360-degree rotating mouthpiece lets the operator choose the position that keeps exhaled breath directed away from them, and on-screen breath-flow and alcohol curves show the test progressing before a result appears. Bluetooth and GPS add wireless printing and location data.

It can run on 3 AA batteries or a USB fast-charge pack. The LX9 is DOT/NHTSA approved for evidential testing but is not approved for DOT workplace confirmation testing under 49CFR Part 40.
