Frame loading systems combine efficiency and flexibility and are well suited to medium-sized batches and retrofits. They integrate into existing infrastructure for smaller freeze dryers as well as production lines with several freeze dryers, with adjustable working height and the option of storage units after the filling machine.

Frames can be taken up by an autoclave, and versions with cRABS and washdown meet strict hygiene requirements. Semi-automatic and fully automatic versions are available. Extensions from Motus include a frame buffer that formats and holds vials in a robust frame, and an automated deframing system that lowers the vials out of the frame for onward transport.
