Product overview

The LyoShuttle Trays system was designed for loading and unloading trays and is available in fully automatic or semi-automatic versions. A battery-powered wireless robot moves horizontally along rails at a uniform loading level, driven precisely and smoothly by a toothed belt, and communicates wirelessly with the controller, so there are no moving components inside the freeze dryer.

During loading the robot pushes the trays in row by row, with the rows linked by hooks. After the cycle the robot pulls the rows out, the hooks let them be separated again, and the trays can move on by conveyor to the next step. In the semi-automatic version the trays are positioned manually and then conveyed in automatically. The system can be combined with Motus filling systems.
