Product overview
alphaCART is a mobile confocal Raman system for applications that need the lab brought to the sample. Its fibre-coupled Raman probe can be positioned in front of bulky, fragile or immovable objects, and its high confocality allows measurements through protective glass or windows, for example into reaction chambers.
Laser, probe and spectrometer are linked by optical fibres, giving the same diffraction-limited spatial resolution, confocality and sensitivity as witec360 systems. It can be configured with 532, 633 or 785 nm lasers, a choice of objectives, white-light illumination with a colour video camera, and optional polarisation-sensitive measurements.
The stand-alone system fits in an optional rolling flight case (about 100 x 60 x 60 cm) for field work, and the probe can also be connected to a stationary witec360 microscope.
