Product overview

witec360 is Oxford Instruments Raman’s successor to the alpha300 confocal line: a modular microscope whose Hexalight spectrometer is specified from 350 to 1100 nm with up to six gratings and lens-based, mirror-free optics for throughput. The architecture is a research Raman imager you configure — fixed setups for a single method, or a core-facility frame that takes correlative AFM, RISE Raman-SEM, photoluminescence, SNOM, TrueSurface topography, and fluorescence on the same sample location. Software overlays the channels instead of exporting a gallery of unregistered frames. Existing alpha300 instruments can be upgraded onto the same correlative options.

Al-Shaker specifies upright versus inverted, which lasers and gratings, and whether RISE or AFM correlative belongs in the first PO — then installs, aligns, and supports the microscope. Particle-analysis packages, extra lasers, and environmental cells are available as options.

This is chemical imaging for pharma, polymers, energy materials, and failure analysis. It is not a handheld identification gun.
