Request a quoteOverview
GeoSpec is a range of benchtop time-domain NMR instruments for characterising rock cores, reservoirs and fluids. They measure oil and water volumes, porosity, permeability, wettability, capillary pressure and saturation, and are designed to mimic NMR logging tools in the laboratory.
The series comprises GeoSpec LT (23 MHz), GeoSpec 12 (12 MHz, with optional 1D or 3D gradients) and GeoSpec 2 (2 MHz, with optional 1D gradients). Interchangeable probes handle cores from 1/2 to 2 inches in diameter, and P5 and P10 overburden cells operating up to 100 °C support core flooding under reservoir-like pressures.
The integrated Green Imaging NMR ProLab software supports workflows from routine analysis to 2D mapping, diffusion, saturation profiling and optional 3D imaging, and Q-Sense technology uses ultra-short echo times to detect very small pores.
