Product overview
MFP-3D-BIO combines AFM performance with integrated optical microscopy for life science research. Built-in top-down optics provide real-time navigation, AFM and optical image overlays, and support techniques such as brightfield, phase contrast, epifluorescence, confocal, TIRF, FRET, FCS and FRAP.
It is designed for simple, high-resolution imaging in liquid on soft biological samples, with temperature control and liquid or gas environment accessories. Force resolution is thermally limited (deflection noise under 8 pm typical, under 20 pm guaranteed) and the Z range is 15 µm standard or 40 µm extended, suiting cell adhesion measurements.
SmartStart, ModeMaster, GetReal and GetStarted automate setup, and a full suite of nanomechanical, nanoelectrical and electromechanical modes is available.
