Request a quoteOverview
Vero ES builds on the Cypher ES and adds QPDI, which measures true tip displacement and lowers cantilever detection noise by up to 10x or more on many cantilevers. It is designed for stable, high-resolution imaging with a noise floor stated as half that of any other AFM and scanning 10 to 100 times faster than typical AFMs.
Fully sealed sample cells enable gas and liquid perfusion with no leak risk and are compatible with fast scanning and all environmental accessories. Temperature control covers 0 to 250 °C in two options (heating to 250 °C, or heating and cooling from 0 to 120 °C), and sample cells keep only fused silica and the PEEK or stainless steel probe clip in contact with liquid for compatibility with harsh chemicals. An optional glovebox configuration supports oxygen- or water-sensitive materials.
It can be upgraded to the Vero VRS1250 for video-rate imaging.
