Request a quoteOverview
Vero VRS1250 builds on the Cypher VRS1250 and adds QPDI detection, which measures true tip displacement and improves sensitivity on many cantilevers. It enables true video-rate imaging at up to 45 frames per second.
The design balances thermal expansion to virtually eliminate thermal drift, blueDrive photothermal excitation keeps imaging stable over long durations and a fully sealed sample cell helps delicate biomolecules to be observed without damage. It supports all functionality of the Vero ES environmental AFM, including options for sample heating and cooling and a complete range of operating modes.
Motorised laser and detector alignment and simple probe loading make setup fast, and the software can process and export video-rate AFM movies for presentations and publications.
