Overview

Product overview

XploreCompact is an EDS detector designed to work within the outer casing of a tabletop microscope (TTM), so it can be installed in even the smallest leading TTMs without cut-outs. It uses technology from the Ultim Max detectors, including the high-throughput X4 electronics, in a smaller package.

It is available with 30 mm² or 65 mm² sensors, supports mapping at count rates above 1,000,000 cps and guarantees Mn K resolution below 129 eV at 100 kcps for all sensor sizes. Detection covers boron to californium.

Users can choose AZtecOne for simple operation or AZtecLive for advanced functionality with live chemical imaging, and the reduced part count supports in-field repair.
