Product overview
The SCION 8300 is a gas chromatograph designed for continuous, automated operation. SCION positions it for any sample type and processing rate, including round-the-clock use in demanding laboratories.
It can be fitted with the 8400PRO autosampler (100 x 2 mL vials) or the 8410PRO autoinjector (mixed 2, 5 and 10 mL vials), both within a compact footprint. SCION Versa headspace samplers and third-party thermal desorption or purge-and-trap samplers can also be integrated.
The manufacturer lists applications in oil and gas, chemical, pharmaceutical (residual solvents, extractables and leachables, organic volatile impurities), environmental and food analysis, and offers custom-configured analysers certified to standard methods such as ASTM, EN, ISO, IP and GPA.
