Product overview
The SCION 8500 is a gas chromatograph aimed at laboratories that need dependable, around-the-clock automation. Paired with one of SCION's in-house autosamplers it is intended to deliver accurate and precise results regardless of sample type or throughput.
Two autosamplers are offered: the 8400PRO, recommended for high-throughput work thanks to its 100 x 2 mL vial capacity, and the 8410PRO, a better fit for smaller batches with differing volumes. The compact Versa headspace autosampler is available too, and third-party thermal desorption and purge-and-trap samplers can be integrated.
SCION lists oil and gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, environmental and food applications, including analysers built to ASTM, EN, ISO, IP and GPA methods, headspace VOC analysis of water and pre-configured greenhouse gas analysers.
