Product overview
CompassCDS is SCION's chromatography data system for acquiring, processing and reporting results from gas and liquid chromatographs. It can be installed standalone or as a networked client/server application and offers application-specific plug-ins, custom calculations and reporting, and long-term archiving of raw data and metadata.
It controls SCION's own instruments (8300, 8500, 436, 456 GCs and the LC6000) and many third-party GC and LC instruments, including Agilent, Bruker and Varian models, CTC PAL samplers and Valco valves. Galaxie drivers and datafiles are supported to ease migration. It is built for 24/7 laboratories, virtualised environments and secure, centralised administration.
The Sample Streamer package connects CompassCDS to LIMS, ELN, LES, SAP/ERP and SCADA/PCS systems, and the Eclipse SIMDIS plug-in automates DHA, simulated distillation and gas calculation reporting for petroleum samples. SCION states compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 and ISO/IEC 17025 guidelines.
