Product overview
SCION ferrules seal the column connection to the injector or detector. The 100% graphite type is soft, reusable and suited to high temperatures, but is not suitable for connection to a mass spectrometer.
For MS applications the 15% graphite / 85% Vespel ferrule is single use and does not crumble. Hole size should match the column: 0.4 mm for 0.1 and 0.25 mm ID, 0.5 mm for 0.32 mm ID and 0.8 mm for 0.53 mm ID columns. Two-hole ferrules allow one injection to feed two detectors.
Variants are listed for 1/16, 1/8 and 1/4 inch fittings, packed columns and 1078/1079 injectors, all in packs of 10.
