Product overview
This page describes the injector types used on SCION gas chromatographs and points to the spare-parts documents for each. The split/splitless injector is isothermal with septum purge, accepts liners up to 4 mm ID and has a dual split vent design.
The programmable temperature vaporizer (PTV) is a universal inlet (split, splitless, COC, PTV) programmable up to 450 degC, suited to thermolabile compounds and complex matrices, and supports large volume injection up to 250 uL with CO2, liquid nitrogen or air cooling. The cold on-column injector also programs to 450 degC with glass inserts that guide column and needle.
Flash and packed/wide-bore injectors are isothermal inlets for direct injection onto wide-bore or packed columns. Electronic flow control types EFC 21, 23, 24 and 25 are specified depending on the injector.
