Product overview
SCION supplies several septum types for GC injection ports. BTO (bleed and temperature optimized) septa are the choice for mass spectrometry, with ultra-low bleed, a 400 degC maximum operating temperature and an optional CenterGuide for easy penetration and less septum damage.
Marathon septa are a softer, very low-bleed material gentle on autosampler needles, quoted at up to 400 injections without failure and 350 degC maximum. Advanced Green septa offer a longer lifetime, reduced injection port sticking and low bleed, also with 350 degC maximum.
Sizes of 9, 9.5 and 11.5 mm are listed, in packs of 25 or 50, each with its own part number.
