Request a quoteOverview
The HT3 is a headspace sampler for GC and GC-MS that works in static mode and, with an added Dynamic Headspace option, in dynamic mode. The dynamic option uses a multi-bed sorbent trap to reach trace-level detection, with SCION quoting a 50 to 100 times sensitivity gain depending on the compound.
A standard 60-position autosampler with a 10-position platen heater gives walk-away automation. The sample pathway, transfer line, needle and loop are inert to limit adsorption and carryover, the sample path is removable for simple maintenance, and temperatures up to 300 °C widen the range of applications. Automated leak check, benchmark testing and a Method Optimization Mode support troubleshooting and method development, and a built-in mass flow controller keeps flow and pressure consistent.
Referenced methods include USP <467>, EPA Method 5021 and RSK-175, with uses across pharmaceutical residual solvents, environmental water, soil and air, food flavour and packaging, and forensic work.
