Request a quoteOverview
SCION manufactures and validates GC hardware and software to established industry methods including ASTM, UOP, EN, ISO and GPA, supplied as turnkey systems for a specific application. Each is built to the performance set out in the relevant standard, calibrated and tested, and controlled by CompassCDS with preprogrammed settings.
The range includes simulated distillation, detailed hydrocarbon analysis, refinery gas analysis (standard and rapid), oxygenates, natural gas analysers, transformer oil gas analysis (ASTM D3612 A, B and C), benzene and toluene in gasoline, trace impurities in gases using a PDHID, sulfur in gas, permanent gases and greenhouse gases. Dual-channel versions combine two single-channel systems in one 8500 GC.
Although most listed uses are petrochemical, SCION also cites chemical process control and environmental greenhouse gas monitoring. Custom analysers are available for applications not listed.
