Product overview
The Versa is a compact automated headspace vial sampler for gas chromatography. At only 12 inches wide, it combines a 20-position autosampler with a single-position platen oven and 22 mL vials.
The whole sample pathway heats to 200 °C, and built-in pressure control keeps injected volume consistent whatever the external conditions. The transfer line, needle and loop are inert to reduce adsorption and carryover, while automatic leak check, a benchmark test and Method Optimization Mode simplify troubleshooting and method development. Versa TekLink 2G software runs it as standard or with full 21 CFR compliance.
SCION states that it identifies residual solvents in bulk or finished pharmaceuticals and meets USP Method <467>. Further uses include RSK-175 dissolved gas analysis, EPA Method 5021 screening, China method GB-5749, and food, environmental and chemical headspace work.
