Product overview
The Sigma 2-7 is a compact benchtop centrifuge that combines high capacity with ergonomic operation and quiet running. Its maximum RCF of 2,540 x g suits clinical diagnostics, veterinary medicine, pharmaceutics, environmental analysis, industrial production, universities and research facilities.
A blue LED running indicator shows from a distance when a run has finished. Ten program locations are provided, and optional programmable standstill and start times support delayed starts, which Sigma developed for working with blood collection tubes in clinical IVD so the required clotting time can be preset.
Many swing-out and fixed-angle rotors, buckets and adapters accept tubes and flasks from 1.5 ml to 100 ml as well as microtiter and deepwell plates. An IVD model and clinic and cell culture packages are available.
