Overview

Product overview

The Sigma 3-16T is Sigma Laborzentrifugen’s space-saving air-cooled benchtop centrifuge with up to 4 × 400 ml in a swing-out rotor and 6 × 94 ml in a fixed-angle rotor. Maximum speed is 15,800 rpm and 23,723 × g. The Spincontrol T touchscreen stores programs, exports USB data, and connects to the Sigma Timer app. ECO Mode stands the unit down when idle. Automatic rotor detection, digital imbalance monitoring, and rotor/bucket service-life monitoring are standard. A refrigerated 3-17KT and an IVD version sit on the same line.

Rotors and accessories cover routine tubes through more demanding process steps — biosafe swing-out and fixed-angle rotors, plus clinic and cell culture packages, are options on this line.

Al-Shaker specifies 3-16T versus 3-17KT refrigeration, IVD, and the first rotor set, then installs, trains, and supports the centrifuge across Jordan, the GCC, and MENA.
