Overview

Product overview

The Sigma 4-5KL is Sigma’s high-torque refrigerated benchtop for throughput: 4 × 750 ml in a swing-out rotor, up to 5,700 rpm / 5,485 × g on swing-out work and 13,500 rpm / 20,376 × g on a 48 × 2 ml fixed-angle rotor. Temperature adjustment is −10 to +40 °C for specimens with tight limits. ECO mode stands refrigeration down after a user-set idle time to cut energy and noise. Fifty programs, biosafe rotors, clinic and cell culture packages, an RS232 interface, and an IVD model are options. An unrefrigerated 4-5L shares the chassis.

Al-Shaker specifies 4-5KL versus 4-5L and versus a 3-16T when the bucket is 750 ml, then installs and supports the centrifuge across Jordan, the GCC, and MENA.

Features

Key features

  • 01

    4 × 750 ml

High torque and short acceleration for clinical diagnostics and life-science batches.

  • 02

    ECO standby

Refrigeration switches off after a set idle time — quieter and cheaper than a unit that cools all day.

  • 03

IVD and RS232 when the lab needs them
