Product overview
The Sigma 3-17KT pairs a compact design with powerful, precisely controlled cooling across -20 to +40 °C. A Rapid Temp button pre-cools the chamber and accessories to a defined temperature. Capacity is up to 4 x 400 ml, and RCF reaches 25,559 x g at 16,400 rpm.
A wide range of fixed-angle and swing-out rotors and accessories covers many vessel types. The Spincontrol T touch unit offers clear menus, quality management functions, run-data export via USB stick, service data retrieval through a QR code and support for the Sigma Timer app.
ECO Mode switches the unit to standby after a customisable time, dims the display and shuts off the compressor, saving energy and reducing noise in the lab. Non-refrigerated and IVD versions exist, and biosafe rotors and clinic and cell culture packages are available.
