Product overview
The Sigma 3-18KHS can both cool and actively heat, giving a broad range of operating options. It delivers RCF values above 30,000 x g (30,070 x g at 18,000 rpm), and the patented Spincontrol S one-knob controller with automatic lid lock keeps use convenient.
Sigma points to industrial use for sedimenting liquid media at relatively high temperatures. Capacity is a maximum of 4 x 400 ml, and a large selection of fixed-angle and swing-out rotors, buckets and adapters, including many biosafe configurations, is available.
The temperature setting range is -20 to +60 °C. An inert gas port and biosafe rotors are optional, and a refrigerated-only variant exists as the Sigma 3-18KS.
