Product overview
The Sigma 3-18KS is meant for users who place very high demands on a refrigerated benchtop centrifuge and want a broad range of operating options. RCF exceeds 30,000 x g, and the patented Spincontrol S one-knob controller with automatic lid lock keeps operation simple.
Capacity is up to 4 x 400 ml. A large selection of fixed-angle and swing-out rotors, buckets and adapters, including many biosafe configurations, is offered. Because high-RCF fixed-angle rotors can be used, Sigma says the unit covers a broader application spectrum than competing devices.
Options include an IVD version, inert gas port, biosafe rotors and cell culture packages. A refrigerated and heated variant, the 3-18KHS, is also offered.
