Sigma 4-16KHS Refrigerated and Heated Benchtop Centrifuge

The Sigma 4-16KHS refrigerated and heated benchtop centrifuge offers diverse rotor configurations and outstanding capacity: 4 x 750 ml in a swing-out rotor or 6 x 250 ml in a fixed-angle rotor. It suits research labs, hospitals, universities, pharmaceutical labs, cell culture and biotechnology, especially for specimens whose viscosity must be reduced during centrifugation.

The temperature setting range is -20 to +60 °C. Numerous swing-out and fixed-angle rotors, buckets and adapters, including biosafe configurations, take tubes and flasks from 0.2 to 750 ml plus microtiter and deepwell plates. Sigma cites best-in-class RCF for the segment, a 6 x 250 ml rotor at 13,131 x g and 50 ml culture tubes at more than 23,000 x g.

The patented Spincontrol S controller provides 30 acceleration and 30 braking profiles, a process library, automatic rotor identification, run-time and speed monitoring and password-protected access. Options include an inert gas port, clinic and cell culture packages, biosafe rotors and an RS 232 interface.
