Product overview
The Sigma 6-16HS is the heated member of the 6-16 series, combining benchtop compactness with floor-standing performance. It serves routine and research applications with high throughput in fixed-angle and swing-out rotors, up to 4 x 1,000 ml or 6 x 500 ml.
Its chamber has a precisely adjustable temperature range of 0 to +70 °C, and it is specifically optimised for measuring the moisture content of crude oil and crude-oil products in accordance with ASTM D91/96. A configuration for ASTM applications at +70 °C is available as an option.
Twelve fixed-angle rotors and six swing-out rotors are offered with numerous buckets and adapters. The patented Spincontrol S one-knob controller provides 60 programs, 30 acceleration/braking profiles, password-protected user settings and a distance-visible progress display. An RS 232 interface and biosafe rotors are also options.
