Product overview
The Sigma 6-16KHS gives benchtop compactness with floor-standing-centrifuge performance. Its precisely adjustable range of -20 to +60 °C makes it especially suitable where the viscosity of specimens must be reduced. RCF reaches 25,419 x g at 15,000 rpm.
It runs blood pouches, petroleum flasks, microtiter and deepwell plates and tubes and flasks from 0.2 to 1,000 ml, with twelve fixed-angle and six swing-out rotors and numerous buckets and adapters, including many biosafe configurations. Typical fields are microbiology, molecular biology, pharmaceutics, genomics, clinical diagnostics, bioproduction and transfusion.
The patented Spincontrol S controller offers 60 programs, 30 acceleration/braking profiles, password-protected settings and a distance-visible program status display. An inert gas port, biosafe rotors, an RS 232 interface and the DataSuite data documentation system are available options.
