Product overview
The Sigma 6-16KS offers benchtop compactness with the performance of a floor-standing centrifuge. It reaches 25,419 x g at 15,000 rpm and serves routine and research work with high throughput in fixed-angle and swing-out rotors.
It processes blood pouches, petroleum flasks, microtiter and deepwell plates and tubes and flasks from 0.2 to 1,000 ml, and is used in microbiology, molecular biology, pharmaceutics, genomics, clinical diagnostics, bioproduction, cell culture and transfusion facilities. Twelve fixed-angle and six swing-out rotors are offered with many biosafe configurations.
The patented Spincontrol S controller provides 60 programs, 30 acceleration/braking profiles, password-protected user settings and a large program status display with a progress bar. Options include an inert gas port, a GMP model with water cooling, clinic and cell culture packages, an RS 232 interface and the DataSuite documentation system.
