Product overview
The Acura capillar 846 is a positive displacement micropipette: the plunger moves inside a glass capillary and contacts the liquid directly, which suits viscous liquids, foaming solutions and volatile solvents. Five models cover 1 to 200 µL.
Each model offers five pre-set volumes that are changed and locked step by step, and the barrel shows the volume. Pipette, plunger and capillary share a colour code so the volume range is identifiable at once. The plunger is stainless steel with a chemically inert ETFE tip, and the slim shaft reaches into deep, narrow containers.
