Overview

Product overview

Acura® electro is the motorised sibling of the manual line: a microprocessor, a rechargeable NiMH pack, and six modes (forward, reverse, stepper, dilution, tactile, mixing) without a programming course. 926 XS covers 0.1–1000 µL with a shorter conical shaft for microtubes and plates. 936 is the macropipette at 0.1–2, 0.25–5, and 0.5–10 mL. 956 is the electronic multichannel. One control unit takes 27 interchangeable volumetric modules, tool-free; factory or user calibration of each module stays in memory. Display flips left or right. Speed changes on the front during a cycle. Justip™ ejector is the same 4 mm click-stop as Acura manual. Volumetric modules autoclave at 121 °C; the cycle counter tracks maintenance. Battery: <1.5 h charge, >3000 cycles, stand-by when idle. First-buy initial packs include stand, charger, extra pack, and a full Qualitix rack.

Al-Shaker specifies 926 XS versus 936 versus 956 and the initial pack versus a lone pipette on an existing stand, then supports the electronics with the same regional service as the manual line.

Features

Key features

  • 01

Six modes, not a second pipette

Reverse for foams, stepper for aliquots, tactile for gels — the motor does the work the thumb used to.

  • 02

    27 modules, one brain

Swap volumetric assemblies without tools; calibration of each module stays in memory.

  • 03

    Left- or right-hand display

The screen flips so the volume is readable in the grip you actually use.
